Why Supplementing With Liquid Grapefruit Seed Extract Could Ease Your Lyme Disease Symptoms

Grapefruit seed extract (GSE) has shown to be effective as a broad spectrum anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent, even anti-protozoan. Although it is not felt to be strong enough to entirely clear an infection, it can help to lower the count in the body either by interfering with the metabolism of the organisms or killing them outright, and is a benign substance.

I take 3 drops of Nutribiotic brand GSE (liquid form) in 4 ounces of water, 3 times a day – the GSE tablets are not as effective. Once I squeeze the 3 drops into the water, I stir it rigorously for 2 minutes so that none of the GSE is left stuck to the glass. I usually take it with food, although you don’t need to.

The times I have stopped taking the GSE I definitely noticed an increase in my symptoms, so, for me, it is a must supplement. GSE has also been shown in vitro (would be nice if we could see its effects in vivo!) to act against the motile and cystic form of borrelia, and so that is another reason I stay on it, besides just the fact that it makes me feel a little better overall. Good luck.

If you have an infection of some sort (as opposed to just taking GSE as a daily maintenance supplement) you really could stand to use more than you are using.

I had issues with my spleen (it hurt!) for over a year. It was aggravated by drinking coffee, which is not something I do much of, which is probably why I noticed it. Coffee will do a number on your immune system, hence mess with one’s spleen.

Well, I eventually developed strep throat, which I Iearned was often a secondary infection to mono. The lights went on. I knew that one’s spleen could become inflamed with mono. I suspect that I did indeed have mono.

I’d taken herbs that were holding the strep at bay but not knocking it out. I then heard about GSE. I took the Nutribiotics Organic Liquid Concentrate. I put 15 drops in water 3 times per day. After the first day my strep throat was much better. After 3 days, no sign of it left. Suspecting I had mono, I decided to continue to take 15 drops in water once per day for the next 3 weeks. My spleen quit hurting and has been fine since.

You just might knock out your lyme disease also, but you need to increase your dosage. I usually drank it away from food. You might give that a whirl also.

      Hi Brewster,
Wow – that’s awesome that it helped you so much and in such a short amount of time! Glad to hear you are doing better now. And thanks for sharing your story and for this great info! I may just try that. :)

The 1929 Ruby Red patent was associated with real commercial success, which came after the discovery of a red grapefruit growing on a pink variety. Only with the introduction of the Ruby Red did the grapefruit transform into a real agricultural success.,

Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything. Nevertheless just imagine if you added some great visuals or video clips
to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images
and video clips, this site could undeniably be one
of the most beneficial in its niche. Great blog!

Most people are exposed to the virus as children, when the disease produces no noticeable or only flu-like symptoms. In developing countries, people are exposed to the virus in early childhood more often than in developed countries. As a result, the disease in its observable form is more common in developed countries. It is most common among adolescents and young adults.-,*”
