The Impact of Lyme Disease: Body and Mind
Patients seeking support in their recovery from Lyme and other tickborne diseases will want to attend the free seminar and health fair event The Impact of Lyme Disease: Body and Mind scheduled for Tuesday evening May 3 at Western Connecticut State University Westside Student Center, 6 – 9 pm. Speakers include Dr. Robert Bransfield, president of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS), Pat Smith, president of the Lyme Disease Association (LDA) and Denise Lang- Grant, LPC, author of the bestselling book “Coping with Lyme Disease: A Practical Guide to Dealing with Diagnosis and Treatment.” The health fair, which opens an hour prior to the seminar, features practitioners, products and services specifically related to tickborne diseases. Health fair doors open at 6 pm with speakers starting at 7.
